Bro. Todd L. Sterling, pledged in the Fall of 1985 at Northwestern State University. He served as Theta Chi Chapter President for 2.5 years, and his love and work in Alpha started from there.
Sterling is driven to do the work of Alpha and takes pride in the signature events Beta Iota Lambda does each year:
Sterling is a proven advertising, marketing and public relations veteran. From a 16 year career in radio from sales to General Manager, to his firm Alpha Media & Public Relations, Sterling has seen and done it all. Helping clients grow their revenue and businesses has been part of his success. Helping politicians and referendums get elected or passed are also passions of his.
For 24 years his firm has produced the Southern University Head Football Coach’s TV Show, now called The Jaguar Football Show with Coach Dawson Odums.
But that’s just work, on the community involvement side, Sterling coached BREC youth baseball the whole decades of the ’90’s, with 4 city championships, and youth basketball almost a decade in the 2000’s at Sacred Heart School, with more championship teams.

Education wise, Sterling is a graduate of Redemptorist High School, and Northwestern State University. Sterling is married to Shelia Delozia Sterling and is the proud father to Todd, Jr. – 24 and Elise Marie – 22.
